Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who demos Selle SMP Forma/Dynamic?

I contacted SMP and their US distributor (Albabici) and found a local shop in NYC that demos SMP saddles. Unfortunately, they only demo the Glider and Stratos, and I was hoping to get my hands on a Forma or Dynamic.

Anyone know where I might get my hands on one, local or online?

I demo'd a Dynamic from them. You pay shipping and they give you 3 weeks to demo it.

FWIW…I ride a Forma. I thought the Dynamic would be THE saddle because I like the shape of the Forma and figured the little padding would make it the perfect saddle, but after giving it a go, I found that the extra padding actually detracted from the saddle. When you get the Forma dialed in, it just seems to cradle you and (with a good pair of bibs) provides plenty of comfort. I just did a century last weekend on it with 6000 ft of climbing. No numbness. No discomfort. For me, the padding turned out not to be needed.
