hobbits don't shave their feet, and they walk thousands of miles on their bare feet. I'd expect you to crush the field by pedaling barefoot. Also, complete the Frodo Baggins look by doing what he's doing.

you might consider selling your body to the cosmetic industry.

As far as the crashing thing, I don't feel the need to shave for that. Cleaning the wound is going to release the hairs anyway, and unless you need your wounds stitched back up at the ER / urgent care... but honestly I am just not man enough for it yet.

Only if you're under 18 or over 80.
I'm just getting back into cycling after a long period of inactivity, never been a racer, never even considered myself fast, but I always shaved because it's easier to apply sunscreen.( Which I require copious amounts of, due to photosensitivity.)

Assuming you don't have thick heavy hair, I would think that you look like a man with leg hair.
I guess it is another double standard because I prefer that woman shave everything below the head hair line.

here's a tip: use KY jelly or a similar glycerol based lubricant, because they work WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than shaving cream.

An image of a guy in a cycling kit, with perfectly shaved legs, and huge hobbit feet just came into my head.
