Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Back on the Road!

I'm good to ride again and got an hour on the road today!
I crashed at the end of February, busting some ribs, snapping some ligaments, and turning my collar bone into a bunch of little clavicle pieces. We followed this with surgery in a sort of a fixer-upper procedure.

I'm finally healed (and able to reach my brake hoods). Time on the trainer and a little running kept me from hitting bottom and going insane.

I missed the road...

Cool, welcome back! So is that neat little sculpture now a permanent part of you or will they remove it?

I'll be honest: I thought that was plans for a new bridge in a 3D rendering program.

'Grats on being back on the bike.
