Thanks, I didn't know that. I found a cool article on the topic from Realtor.com... Also, I guess they call the area Paradise Clay :-)
I didn't cross the bridge but hope to in the future. I rode from SF via Hawk Hill, to Larkspur, and down to Tiburon. And ferried into the City :-)

Not my bike (I rented the Colnago V3R), but still a great picture and trip. I recommend Mallorca to anyone that's looking for serious hill climbing. Our typical daily ride was 160km (100mi) with 2500m (8200ft) of total elevation - it was awesome!
Photo was taken last week in Sa Calobra (Mallorca, Spain).

I wanted to ride my regular Sunday ride yesterday on my road bike but the clouds to the north looked nasty so I rode around the neighborhood. This morning I wanted to attempt my regular Sunday ride but my wife watched me clean and mulch a 400 square foot flower bed yesterday and I was beat. So I took a spin to a nearby duck pond that makes me happy on my old Takara Grand Touring. Then she watched me do some more work.
