Fresh water pond in Holt's Landing State Park, Madison Revel mixte.
This mixte bike makes for a very nice mixed surface ride. In the picture the tires are GK semi slick 32mm. I usually have 38mm Bontrager AW3 tires on the same wheels. The wider tires are considerably better in the rougher off road/gravel areas.

Hard to see (morning light's on wrong side of this bridge) but the water's there if you look close enough...

Not the type of road bike you guys typically discuss here, but how about a bit of variety?
It's a ZiZZO Forte folder. It's their heavy-duty model. 28 lbs + water bottle & rack pack. 20 x 1.95" tires can do a bit of everything. run them on the soft side, for that supple ride, which is helped a bit by the flex of the frame, seat post and handle post. The frame is aluminum, but a flexy design as it's not braced much in its geometry. It has reinforcing plates welded on at the head/top tube and at the top of the top tube near the seat tube. There is a braze-on on the front of the head tube and what ZiZZO calls a "pignose adapter" to take Brompton-style luggage up front, without affecting steering. The bike is rated to carry a 300 lb. load, I believe the only folder of this era to be rated so high.

Oct. 21, 2025. Lake Michigan in the background, as seen from Sheboygan, WI. I had just ridden through the tail end of that storm off to the left to get to this beach.
Definitely the most versatile city bike in my fleet. I'm taking it on an 83 mile trail ride next week:

If anyone in the area wants to join me for a slow roll on Wisconsin's longest rail trail ↑ , drop me a PM. Bring your slow bike, I'll probably be averaging about 11-12 mph.
