Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Xero Lite wheels?

Does anyone run the Xero Lite CXR-6 wheels on a road bike? How are they? Im looking for a cheaper pair of wheels for a older aluminum fuji road bike im building. I cant find much on them. Ive got a set next to me that i can pick up for about $80 no cassette. Seems like a fair price but id like to steer clear if they are complete junk. I figure they might work until i get a better set in my sights.

had those on my Fuji, sold them quick. If your looking for wheels to beat around in and dont care about performance, $80 is not bad.

I saw a set of these on CL a few days ago. They were going for about $150 here. I asked Google, who said they're not bad wheels, but heavy. In fact, they're even heavier than the ones that came with my bike. Thus ended my research project.

These wheels came off a fuji from the sounds of things.

talked them down about 10 bucks.

probably not a bad price while i look for an upgrade and it would get this bike built up so it is ridable. That is my reasoning

picked them up for $65. They look fine and should function the same.

Thanks!
