You don't say anything about suffering on the bike. Did your recent illness leave you wimpy?

Pcad: 'Racing is hard' Earl: 'Racing is fun. Training is hard'. If you do it right, that's how it should be. So I've been suffering on the bike quite a bit lately, but it seems to have paid off a little after several weeks. That's nice. |
Sounds a little less organized than he one I suggested..Oh well that ship sailed..23mph, avg... Was Mrs. Pcad on the back of this bike to?
6.1 self timed huh, wait till the weekend and I'll get back with you...Don't have a TT bike but do have the VENGE.. |

I think the TT bike gives you 1.5-2 mph on most course profiles.

Dave Freifelder, is he the Cat 1 NJ crit champ? If so, he had no problem hanging with the Pros at Somerville.

Actual TT bikes are pretty fast. When I compare my times on the TT bike to guys who are clearly faster than me in TT's where they are in the 'Cannibal' division (regular road bikes on the same course) I routinely beat guys who I KNOW are faster than I am. I think the TT bike gives you 1.5-2 mph on most course profiles. I think my time on that same course yesterday would be 21-21.5 mph tops on a regular road bicycle.

Does your estimate apply to all road profiles? I have yet seen any1 on a TT/Tri bike go up a cat3 or steeper climb.
Sorry, abuse is down the hall. |
