Other people can bite me, including you, but you do get a few coveted BF Pcad Brownie Points for kissing Cervelo ass. Nicely done.

Other people's opinions. Good grief. Who needs those?

First you'll have to get your TT speed up over 30 mph on that Rt. 29 course.

That could be tough wearing a surgical sock you know.

The march to 50K is long and arduous.

svtmike 07-18-11 12:26 PM

Congrats on your PR, PCad. That's always something to be proud of.

I'm happy on the Bike Schwag side. You buy a new TT bike. You hope it will make you faster. The first race out with the bike you set a TT PR for average speed.

That worked.

This is a tough friggin room. You Fred jerks.

I already told you I was impressed.

I am impressed 23.7mph average seems fairly fast, was it a fairly flat course? I've never ridden a TT bike either, I imagine they are good for at least a mph or so.

However you're starting to scare me talking to yourself. I think you may be developing a multiple personality disorder.

Jandro 07-18-11 12:53 PM

attaboy.

patentcad 07-18-11 12:57 PM

23.7 mph isn't that fast for that particular course. That's a fast course. But it looks good on paper.

You Freds have to work on your kissass skills.

ILUVUK 07-18-11 01:38 PM

23.7 MPH is good...especially with those pantyhose weighing you down.

2manybikes 07-18-11 01:41 PM

Those are aerohoseŽ. Fishnet stockings are non-aero.

mvnsnd 07-18-11 02:01 PM

Well done!. Does the 4th place finish get you any closer to cat III?

4th place is DFL when there are 4 guys. TT results have no impact on upgrades for USA Cycling racing categories. You can be the fastest TT guy in the state and your results won't help you with an upgrade.

Ah, after all these years we discover the Unknown Comic resides in Chester, NY.

We'll be right back <clap> after these messages.

Interesting. I wonder why the nun that taught me 5th grade English wore aerohoseŽ back in the day.

patentcad 07-18-11 02:29 PM

in answer to a question above, TT bikes give you 1.5-2+ mph for the same watts, maybe more, but only if they fit you well.

Hey Pcad,

Do you fancy yourself as being The Voice of the Common Fred?

There are too many of him in there to be a single Voice.

Oh get over yourself.

WHOOOSSHHH... 07-18-11 03:38 PM

I tore my bicep muscle clean off the bone yesterday, it now resides by my shoulder..I ain't fixin it either..they say you loose 50% of your strength if you don't, which will still make me stronger than every stick boy here... finally I got at least one PCAD size arm now...Oh, if this had happened to PCAD it would have required a seperate thread....:innocent:

patentcad 07-18-11 05:00 PM

This means I have a chance against Whooshbreath in arm wrestling.

Imagine how much faster you'd have been if you had bought the Cannondale Supersix Evo instead of that outmoded Cervelo.

Quel 07-18-11 05:30 PM

Did I just see a picture riding a bike in panty hose? Yikes.

sjvcycler 07-18-11 05:56 PM

congrats, but you do realize that you talked to yourself for the first 2 posts :).
