Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What brand? All jerseys are not created equally.

My criteria:
Does it fit?
Does it have 3 pockets that can hold my stuff?
Does it have a full length zipper?
Do you have enough to ride how many times you want through the week without doing laundry? I've long since satisfied that criteria, and only pick them up from certain events if their custom ones catch my eye.

$60 would be more than I've ever paid for a jersey.

My nicest jerseys are my two Hincapie event jerseys, Six Gap and 3State, $55. Materials, fit, sizing all perfect, cool graphics, fits all of the above.
A plain colored one off a LBS store shelf would have to be WAY LESS. With LBS logo design all over them, they'd have to be near free to get me to advertise for the shop.

Here you go, Bonktown.com, $52, Capo should be top quality, italian brand so take that into consideration with fit, full length zipper, 3 pockets, silicone hem, sounds simliar to my hincapies.

Cheap and non-plain even jerseys are always on ebay for less that 20 bucks S&H, I've got two and they are nice, colorful, and from out of state.

LL Bean has casual cycling jerseys.

They run a bit on the large side.

You can find other cheap jerseys at REI, Aerotech, Performance bike, Voler and
there's a jersey closeout guy... maybe someone can remember the name, long something.
