To the OP: Does your group ride allow tandems? Drafting behind tandems rocks. Plus, it's usually a better view.

I've only seen a tandem out once and that was on the ride of silence this year.

I've seen a couple TT bike track conversions, the horizontal dropouts and position make them great for turning into track bikes. Of course the nearest track is like 10 hours away, so I'm guessing they just want to look cool around here.

I'm sorry, but should this obvious Tri thread really be mixing it up with the Road Bike forum?

I think everyone should get an S5 frame and freakin chill.
