Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice bike, but it deserves nicer bottle cages.. from an aesthetic point of view.

Thanks and I don't disagree. The color just matched so well and the $6 price tag made me smile

Understood.... I have rather expensive carbon cages on my carbon bike, but the same $6 cages on my MTB.

The Allez is a great bike. My son had one when he as 15 and started racing Tri's and crits. He beat many people with much more expensive bikes.

Here he's competing int he Empire State Games where his team took Bronze overall.

I agree that the Allez is a very competent bike as are a few other of the newer technology aluminum frames. The more I ride my Allez the more I question if I really need my Roubaix..... and that's saying a lot

Yes, this is black:

How much more black could this be? None, none more black.
