Anyone use a TT specific saddle on their road bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I use an Adamo Racing2 on my road bike and a Cobb V-flow on one of my mountain bikes. If it works go for it, who cares what you're sitting on.

I know someone who did it. TT saddles are usually designed to be ridden on the nose. If your position has you running somewhat steep, it could work nicely

I used a Fizik Arione for several years but bought a Cervelo TT bike that came with a Profile Design Elite TT saddle. It has almost the exact same shape as the Fizik Arione but it has a little more padding. I knew on the first ride that this was a better saddle for me. I now have 4 of them on my various bikes (road bike, TT bike, mountain bike and my travel bike). I am now done buying saddles. https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...s.php?id=16449

I bought 3 of them on Ebay for < $30

Right now, I'm specifically looking at the fizik tri-2 right now. it is the same overal shape as my arione. the arione doesn't cause me any discomfort, I am just curious because it seems to be more "supple" in the padding. It isn't much of a different to the touch but there is a difference. sometimes I feel as if my arione can take 5-10 miles to get comfy and the thought of the tri-2 being just smidge more padding has my mind thinking if it would be anymore comfortable???
