Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Unofficially, Cervelo will allow you to pay the difference and get a different frame back, if they decide you're entitled to a replacement frame under their warranty. But you have to request it during the warranty process. Or have LBS do it for you, since they probably took care of everything.

My bike, my choices! Yes it's a 2012, the colors for 2012 are the same as 2011. The difference being that the R3 is only available in white and blue for 2012 and the Team is available in the red and black. Curious, does yours have the SL fork?

Maybe it was a size issue or maybe it was due to my LBS knowing that I wanted to move to the R3, either way it worked out?!
