Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

zero track.

actually, they are all very hard to accidentally pull out of, unless you have piss poor technique and twist your foot a lot.

well to give you the story behind the answer, you can rule out the X series pedals. The Zero's are a better design, and the X series at this point is essentially a legacy system for people like me that have multiple X series pedals and don't want to incur the cost of changing all of them to Zero's.

And you don't need the light action pedals, so that leaves the Zero's as the clear choice.

Once I get in my speedplays, nothing short of actually twisting the ankle will get me out. they're TIGHT. and yes the screws are the proper torque.
