Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Has anyone ever purchased from this site https://www.stealthcycling.com/ and if so how was your experience?

The guy that owns the site rides in our cycling group. He sounds like a good guy but I've never bought anything from his site though.

I placed an order on the 24th paid immediately with paypal. The site is saying I haven't paid. I have been trying for the last three days to get in touch with someone there. I've email 3 times and left at least four voice messages. Not sure what to do at this point.

Just a thought: the 24th was a Saturday, and it was Christmas eve. Lots of folks with small businesses take the week between Christmas and New Year's off.

You're probably right. I would think he would have his voice mail set up to say so.

this is what drove me from retail, instant gratification needs of some on weekends and holidays. sometimes, especially during holidays, things take time. not everybody thinks everyone of the 365 days are the same.

I think you're missing the point with your "instant gratification" remark. In most automated ordering systems when directed to paypal the order shows as paid. This one, however, kept telling me I needed to procede to paypal to complete my transaction. When I called to inquire about my order the first number I tried was not in working order. The second one directed me to customer service, which was "busy", and redirected me to voicemail. There was never any mention of being closed for the holidays, and in todays society plenty of businesses are open during the holidays. I had no idea how large or small this company is. I started this post mainly trying to find out if the site was legit, because I don't know if you know it or not but some aren't on the up and up. I also worked retail for over 12 years for companies that only closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas day, so I understand how it is to deal with the public and have all the respect in the world for business owner's. Maybe it was your attitude that drove you from retail, not everyone is cut out to deal with people face to face.

I would like everyone to know that the owner was very quick with refunding the money. I would reccommend his company to anyone here.
