I really don't want to know...

Just purchase some winter bibs and be done.

I want a terrarium the size of a breadbox with a half-dozen of these.

After a flat or two, I know I'd be pissed I didn't buy the clinchers. I've never needed to call friends or family after being stranded on the side of the road. I've been close, but have been able to figure something out and limp home or to a shop. Even on those dreaded multiple flat rides. I don't view gluing a tire on the side of the road as anything but a royal pain in the ass.

I don't consider tubulars as an everyday wheel. Maybe some do. I'm also not a WW like you. I find the WW stuff to be fun and interesting, but 300g isn't going to cause me to make a poor long term decision.

You stretch and glue your spare beforehand and put it in a bag. Stow in jersey or seatbag.

I usually find a preglued sewup swap easier than clincher swap.

Spare tube + patchkit is still better than multiple spare sewups if you enjoy a lot of multiple flat rides, however.

Maybe rjones can try this form of two-wheel transportation, since he doesn't bicycle anymore:

I'm surprised someone here knows what a breadbox is . . . they've been gone a good 40 years methinks.

Mr. Jones asked me to deliver the following message for him: "Bite me!"

There is a breadbox in our kitchen.

Are you hoping for a magazine-esque release schedule?

Not for nuthin, but the humidifier attached to the water bottle does kind of resemble a bread box.

I have no bread box on my bike, just a couple of fat rolls.

A surprising absence of dust.

Get out! I haven't seen one since I left my mom's house, and that's been a little bit.

I haven't even seen one in a store in decades.

We even keep bread in it.

Built into cabinets don't count... ;) Been more than a few years since I've seen one.

I don't blame you, my thoughts precisely. I train on clinchers myself, however you already have clinchers for everyday use. If your going to drop Enve money, I'd build some bad ass tubies for special occasions. You don't race right? So just use them on days you really want to go hard, or for taking pictures for BF. I just can't justify spending 2k or more on wheels that weigh more than 1300g.

No breadbox, so we keep bread in the microwave. If we don't, this guy will chew through the plastic and gnaw on the loaf -
