45.3 mpg (actual, calculated by me) on my latest Lexus Ct200h tankful. That ROCKS.

datlas 05-25-12 12:21 PM

What's so wrong with average speed??

It's too slow, at least mine is.

I kid you not. I do not claim wind-aided KOM's.

I also do not recognize Bonds and McGwire in the world of baseball.

I had to suspend caring about average speed when I rode in the Bay Area two weeks ago. 10.2 average mph. 43 miles with 5,600' of climbing. Now that I'm back home, I care again. 16.5 average this morning over 23 miles...a little faster than normal.

LowCel 05-25-12 12:57 PM

Santa stopped by this afternoon. :D

Replacement Garmin or first one ever?

RollCNY 05-25-12 01:00 PM

Looks like Santa had his way with your tires. Might want to wash them before mounting.

RollCNY 05-25-12 01:06 PM

I have been getting lots of packages from Santa too, based on the ultimatum I got from my wife:

Stop dithering with the Cinelli and have it built up, tested, and totally done with Campy parts for a Father's day ride with the family. If it is not done by the 15th, she is going to buy me the carbon bike with full Force group that my LBS has been trying to get me to buy for 6 months. Her definition of totally done is ridden, error and issue free, for 250 miles, and with no interim or place holder parts. It has to be done, or it will be replaced. I have done lots of mid-night shopping, and am hopefully on track to avoid this dreadful fate.

datlas 05-25-12 01:40 PM

LowCel must have been nice and not naughty.

PhotoJoe 05-25-12 01:48 PM

LowCel bought me a Garmin. How nice. You really shouldn't have!

DropDeadFred 05-25-12 01:50 PM

had an epic blow out on my rear tire today...where is a place to get a good deal on some gp4000s? I know we see posts on them all the time I just can't remember any of them.

Based on this forecast, you will know where to find me Saturday. Goodbye all northbound KOM sprints*

*If I could put an asterisk by them, I would.

On the south side riding north sometime after sunrise.

PBK is currently running a 2pack of 23s for $87.69 then down to $78.92 with coupon code "bicycling10" Stumbled across it looking for a particular jersey and seems a good deal...
