Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What is this Cannondale?

The Cannondale in the CL ad states he doesn't know what model it is. Is there anything you can tell me from the pics?
Is it worth the asking price?
Is it probably either stolen or have hidden damage?

That is a touring bike from about 1985-86 or so. Nice stiff tourer, but I would offer $150 or maybe $200. Some in the classic & vintage crowd really like those bikes. They make good commuters and rain bike because of the fender & rack mounts. A dab of gorrilla glue will fix the top tube cable guide.

I just saw the ad and the name caught my attention. I am not really looking for a bike. I have 2 Raleighs and an old Olmo. If it isn't a steal I will pass.
