Was under the weather yesterday, and the Awesome-o-meter needle was resting on zero. Went home and took the magic elixir, NyQuil. It is the best remedy to put you over the weather ASAP. Slept ten hours and felt awesome on my ride this morning.

I felt awesome last night. I was out of town last week and didn’t ride. I got home Saturday and did 25miles. It felt really good to get back on the bike. Then Sunday it was in the 60s and pouring rain. I rode 20 or so on my steel touring bike with fenders. The conditions sucked and the speed wasn’t there, but it felt good to ride. Last night I met up with a couple of friends and we put in around 40 miles. One guy is a pretty strong rider, so it upped the game a little. It was a great night and I can say that it felt awesome. I felt strong and fast. Hard to explain, but when there are those times that you feel great....you hammer on the pedal and you can feel the acceleration. It was a good ride.
