Jerseys for tall lean dudes?

Jerseys for tall lean dudes?
I'm 6'4" and 185lbs.
- Long enough
- Good for hot weather
- Fitted through the waist (i.e. not a "club fit" for big bellies)
- Durable
- Under $120 or so

I have one pair of cheap C-Dale shorts and one jersey, a sale bin radioshack. The jersey is too short for my 6'4" frame, so I head out on 50 mile club rides with a poly t-shirt and nothing to eat (no pockets)....
So I'm thinknig bibs which might also be your solution. But now-- what bibs fit a 6'4" 180# guy....?!

Strangely I'm always an XL in bibs. I actually wanna get new bib shorts as well but I'm almost curious if I should try some XXL! It seems crazy, but the XL Louis Garneau bibs I just got only barely fit. I mean I do have a bit of an a$$ for a while boy, but I'm still a 34x36. That shouldn't be double extra large, ya know??
Maybe I should have posed this as, "What size Giordana/Castelli jersey should I order?" or something like that. It seems these euro companies are going have a leaner cut but they're not as easy to find at the shops near me.

I run into the same problem with less pricey kit. I'm just a touch shorter and a fair bit leaner and I find soooo many of the "race fit" are actually "race fit for cat 5 American bellies" (no offense intended but they do seem to cut more than a bit larger in the stomach for the US market). Club fit..., forget about it. Seems the only good form fitting retail options are usually also the >$100 options. Boo hiss...

These jerseys are suppose to be for big men which sometimes means a big gut but take a look.

At 6'3" and 200-205, I have had good luck with the World Jersey's Large size. Length is okay, but I tend to make sure I have something in the jersey pockets to keep them pulled down. Without any weight in them, they will ride up a bit, but keeping my spare tube and CO2 in there as a minimum, no problem.
And I use inexpensive Pearl Izumi Quest shorts, after wrestling Specialized bibs that are either too loose in the leg or too tight in the straps, and have never had an issue with them.

My Hincapie jersey is long enough, and are fairly fitted in their "Race cut", but they aren't like a skin suit or anything. Not sure how tight you're going for. These jerseys are meant to be worn. Very sturdy fabrics, 15 months of weekly use on mine and it still looks brand new.
I'm 6'1" 158lbs and wear a Medium in both of those brands. I bet a L would fit nicely and have even more length for you at 6'4".
Also, my Castelli Aero Race fits great, length is so-so, but with bibs it's a non issue. Very skin-tight and stretchy. I wear a L for this jersey, and an XL would probabloy fit you. They are $130 right now at competitive cyclist with the gdt21 discount code. Not sure about durability on this one, they are super thin. Great for the heat and great for aerodynamics.
I guess the point is, maybe you need to look at the very form fitting jerseys.

God, Hincapie for you it is, lol.
I'm 6'0, 152 ish. The Hincapie medium from my team kit fits well enough, but it's like 2 inches too long for me, annoys the hell out of me. Should be perfect for someone 6'4

So, I am resurrecting this thread in hopes of more suggestions. I'm about 6' 3" and about 165 (skinny feller). Mediums (U.S.) or Larges (Euro) fit best around the middle but are often too short.
Other than Hincapie, what jersey brands tend to fit long? Looking at short-sleeve right now, but long-sleeve too for fall. Thank you!!!

6'5" 200lbs, and I've had good luck with Castelli (typ. XL for jerseys, XXL if long sleeve). For the bibs, I only have Hincapie and Castelli, both fit fine based on waist size, but the Castelli tends to ride up a little on the legs.

I'm like you but a bit heavier. We got Hincappie stuff last year and it's been the best I've found. I tend to just go for the XL and deal with the slight oversize-ness.
