Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Boyd Vitesse + Swisstop Green + Conti GP4000s 700x25 = SWEET combo

I got my Vitesse wheelset (with new 23mm wider rim) almost 2 weeks ago and have put about 150 miles on them. The roll really nice and are nice and stiff on steep climbs out of the saddle.

I also got a set of Swissstop green pads with my order. The stopping power of these pads is flat out amazing. I've used Swissstop black (the ones that come on the SRAM Force brakes) and Ultegra 6700 pads before and have liked both and thought they were good enough.

I rode these wheels on a 7400 ft of gain century and put these brakes to work. Super impressed.

I used Conti GP4000s 700x25c tires with Vittoria latex tubes. There were quite a few rough roads and this helped smooth the ride out A LOT. These wheels took a pounding and are still dead true.

Obligatory pic:
