HED ardennes
Hi. Im wondering if its possible at all to purchase the HED ardennes GP rear wheel rim only. I need to lace it to a ss/fixed hub..i searched via google but can't really find anything.
Just wondering
From what Ive heard they are a very good wheelset and worth the price you pay for them.
.....lace them to a phil wood hub?

I believe the HED Ardennes use the HED C2 Belgium rims.
I got my custom-built wheels based on the HED C2 Belgium rims from www.wheelbuilder.com. I believe they will sell rims only.
Mine were laced 28 double-crossed for the front wheel and 32 triple-crossed for the rear wheel with Sapim CX-Rays to White Industries hubs. The wheel set weighs 1500 grams.
Smooth and solid pair of wheels. The wide rims really open up the tires and create a very nice, smooth rolling pair of wheels. My 23mm Continental Grandprix TT tires measured out at 25.5mm wide on the wheel.
