Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As I was reading the latest velonews article on the Frankie S. drug case I was amazed on how he looks so very different without the glasses. I could never pick him out of a line up. What say you. Some guy look better with others with out but very different when not wearing.

I recognize a large number of members in my club by the bike they ride. Since i only see them with sun glasses and helmets on (and often different ones), i probably couldnt pick them out in a lineup. However, the bikes are pretty consistent.

I say that I don't much care about how good other dudes look with or without glasses. If you do, there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm heading over to the mtn bike forum now to talk about chics and maybe get a contact buzz.

On a similar note, I NEVER recognize Jet players I see around town (I live near their Florham Park NJ training facility) without their uniforms on! Take the helmet off, and they could be anyone to me.

That's why Bradley Wiggins grew out his super mutton chops.
