Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What was the point of this? The speed limit was what 40-55 kmph, its not that hard especially down hill.

Can't wait until you get a ticket and complain. Posting the video isn't the smartest.

It only counts if you can set it off from both directions.

I once went past a speed camera so fast that It exploded. The highways agency fined me and then confiscated my bike to melt down and make a new speed camera. If you look closely you can tell it weighs less than all of the other speed cameras on that road due to the baby bike bolts and carbon bottle cages

Screw that, I think it's cool.

I'm sure they'll track him down by his license plate...

If they had speed cameras near me I'd run that thing every day. Or vandalize it, i'm not sure really.

Well, maybe a bicycling speeding ticket is sort of like an Olympic gold medal or something. Maybe the OP is a "legend" like Usain Bolt considers himself. Whatever floats your boat.

Huh? That's a west country accent. I'm pretty sure that was Bristol, but I'm wondering if the OP will confirm?

Just curious, is all.

Long time ago went to a party with a sucker from Dundee, we arrived there and between all the germans and americans an guy from london showed up and start talking with the scotish man.... then a chick super happy was passing by and said... Oh... a scotish man here... the english guy said right away... oh you are from wales... interesting experience, 3 guys from the UK together in a party with like 15 drunk germans hehehe

The americans ask us like 4 times... dude are you sure your friend is not german? (pointing to the guy from dundee)

I thought this was leading to:
I noticed two rather large women in the pub.
They both had strong accents so I asked, “Hey, are you two ladies from Scotland?”
One of them chirped: “It’s WALES you friggin’ idiot!”

So, I immediately apologized and said…, “Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland?
