Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Trek Domane 2.3 2013 vs Orbea aqua TLT 2011

Hi,

After lot of thinking, my choice of a road bike is shared between two bikes. For 1499€, I can get either a Trek Domane 2.3 from 2013 or an Orbea aqua TLT 2011 (https://www.cyclesportet.fr/b08_velo-...t23-junior.htm) ( the bike seller makes some price offer on it so that its price is 1499€).

My personal thought is to go about the Trek (as I've already got a Trek 8000, and, moreover, because of the main features of the Domane line: IsoSpeed stuff), but the Orbea is Ultegra-based, despite being 2011's Ultegra (I don't know if 2013's 105 is better than 2011's Ultegra).

What would be your advices, considering I'm 22, and that I like to make as much kilometers as possible (I actually mainly used my Trek 8000 as a road bike, cycling with road bikers)?

Thanks.
