That said... i would pick my bicycle over my moto right now eventhough i paid over 11k$ for my gixxer and only 1.7k$ for my fuji.

I already made my choice. I sold my Harley a few years ago. Riding a motorcycle was fun but I enjoying cycling much more. Try holding a conversation with another motorcyclist while riding. Bicycles is a heathier lifestyle which is now what I am into.

i miss my motorcycle a lot, and my gf has come to terms with the fact i love my bicycle than her.

Sold my Motorcycle 2 months ago- spent all my free time cycling and it remained unused so I made my choice.

Wow that is tough.

Since I do other activities for fitness, if I could only choose one then probably I'd be on a motorcycle.

Although I often ride both daily. (Sportbike 1 of 3)

I had a CBR1000RR. After many speeding tickets, reckless citations and a couple of suspensions, I sold it. The police around here does not like sports bikes and will make up anything when stopped around here.
Since then it's all road cycling for me!

My motorcycle is sitting in a garage with a dead battery and no tag, if that tells you anything. I had been choosing the bicycle for rides so often that I just parked the motorcycle.

What an easy question!

I choose the motorcycle when I want to ride the motorcycle, and I choose the bicycle when I want to ride the bicycle. You can only ride one at a time.

I've put more miles on the bicycle the last two years. But I took the Triumph out last weekend, and had a blast. But if I could only have one, I'd keep the bicycle, for the health benefits.

I love both but don't have time to do both seriously. My competition motorcycles are rotting in the garage while I spend my time on bicycles. I still commute on a motorcycle on days when I'm not hauling a bicycle to a group ride before work.

I've gone from motorcycles, to bike racing, burnt out and went back to motorcycles and into competition (trials), then back to cycling and eventually racing again.

Maybe when I retire I'll have time for both, but then I probably won't have the energy.

I essentially have to be honest with my doctor and of course not so up on and er or ambulance roll-outs for six months for 6 months before I can even think of getting my my motorcycle dl back, then i currently live in a city where I got all of my evasion and wreckless and speeding tickets when i was a kid. So i am not in the biggest rush to go down to the DMV.
Then run the money up get a pre-abs cbr600RR. Insure it all that fun stuff.

I miss my motorcycle, and have no idea how to handle the chance to purchase another one.

Easy question because I enjoy riding in the rain and apparently motorcycles melt. I'm assuming this because I've never seen one ridden on the roads here when it's wet.

I always get odd comments when I ride my moto in the rain.

"How on earth are you going to get home?"
Uh, same way I got here, riding in the rain.

I got into bicycle touring after covering pretty much all on NZ (6500km) in eight days on the Guzzi. I saw NOTHING.

Cycling. It's healthier, Green and at the end a statement about perspectives/lifestyles. I get very tired of seeing middle age, beer-gutted losers in parade-like troupes pull a cable throttle and act as if they are doing something athletic. Or in gigantic "man" tribal groups doing something purposeful. The act of sitting your tush on a padded banana seat, navigating for a few hours, then getting off the road to eat fat-laden meals and while gratuitously slapping each other (or their cycle mommas) on the back / tush as if what they did something seems less than HTFU. The machine does 99% of the work and that is not HTFU.

Note: I used to ride a big motorcycle as a college kid - mostly to impress the girls. As I look back at the costs- expenditure of energy to produce unit, cost to buy as a college idiot, aggregate usefulness and effect on the environment (using a current lens) - very little purpose. Other than high speed adrenaline. I was a knucklehead. That said - the clunker bike I had at school was a total dog and if I had a bike like the one I do now - I probably would have chosen the road bike vs 750 cc. A nice physique, well tailored man on a road bike would probably have more appeal for both winsome, or overt college girls.
