Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As a matter of fact after reading a few more of his posts I am sure that Brett 12 is 53-11.

Could be both - but I would give the nod to Brett12.

What if you are all 53-11, and I'm the only one who is really real. What if this whole forum is some A.I. supercomputer that I have been chatting with, and even 55/RAD's avatar is just a CG image.

Or maybe, you are all FBI agents in a massive sting operation to try and hunt me down for building a thermonuclear weapon out of Campy components, carbon forks, a cyclocomputer for a timing circuit, and salad bowls for reflectors.

Ah yes, the all seeing eye.....

It might be both. The Darth response was surprisingly helpful for the old 53-11.

it sounds like 53-11 has reached critical mass and divided...the question is how much time do we have until the next division? will this forum be overrun? does darth use shimano and brett12 on campy? any why is it not brett11 or brett53...what cogs is he riding? which one is on clinchers and which is on tubulars?

Bingo!

I hadn't even noticed it. 6'2" 204 (53-11 started out at 210, and was 207 a couple of weeks ago, he is losing weight).

Also, the mention of tubulars should've tipped me off.

anyways...

Perhaps the 53-11 theme song should be changed from "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas, to Aerosmith's "Back in the Saddle Again". On the other hand, since it has been debated whether or not 53-11 actually rode a bike, perhaps Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time" would be the best choice. (Believe it or not, I actually do know music that has come out recently... those are just the first songs that came to mind.)

Ummm, excuse me, wasn't "Back in the Saddle Again" made famous by Gene Autry?

Dan Fogleberg also recorded a song of the same name. Better than whacko's song.
