If you say so. Little guy hasn't stopped bouncing since we got home. That photo was taken prior to him getting his shot.

Yowza!

I should just get a tandem instead of a decent road bike...

It's a custom order. Only one in existence.

He's a cutie. I can almost smell his puppy breathe. BTW, after he finishes with his puppy shots, yearly boosters, esp. for older dogs, isn't necessary depending on where you live. It lowers the animal's immune system. Most Vets won't tell you that since it makes $$ for them. An honest Vet will tell you it's not necessary. Legally, in most states, only the rabies is required. Dr. Dodds (Rabies Challenge Fund) is trying to change the 3 year rabies to 7 years. The 1year vaccine is the same as the 3 year. Again, ask your Vet. I stopped vaccinations @ 5 yr. when I educated myself re: food and vaccinations. My Whippet was 15 and a cancer survivor 2x. Cancer wasn't the problem when I sent him to the Bridge.

Thank you very much for the information. I'll certainly talk it over with the wife. She takes care of all of that type of stuff. I took care of the shots today since I am off on Fridays so it was much more convenient for me. Plus, Izzy is really hooked on me. :D

My next Ti bike will just have a matte finish. Then when I get bored, maybe I'll hand polish it one off season like Whooosshee did. :thumb:

I like it when dogs get improbably big sticks.

I'm gonna polish a bunch of aluminum parts this winter. Might even do a pair of rims.

Thinking about another Ti bike. Carbon ones just aren't the same....Firefly, Moots and Seven are on the radar. Baum, actually tops the list but 7K..:twitchy:

This is on my short list. A lot of value (funny huh?) in the Lynskey actually.

You're welcome. You might want to show your wife this article as well. I will admit it is time-consuming but well worth getting involved with your pet's health. Knowledge is power. I encourage folks to be pro-active in their health as well as their pets. I like Izzy's name. I'm sure he is "Mr Personality."

It's the dork disk. That's usually 3-4 lbs right there.

The dork disk has now been removed. I swapped out one tube for a lightweight tube. The valve stem is just barely long enough so I left the rear tube alone. I didn't do it just to change the tube, I was planning on swapping out to my Psimet carbon 50's. That didn't work out since I didn't think about the valve stems being too short. I figure I might as well use those since I can't use them on the road bike. There has been a vibration in the front wheel when braking ever since I received them. I probably won't notice the vibration on the cross bike like on the road bike.

Now I just need to pick up a black bottle cage and some long valve stemmed tubes.

I am not as familiar with it as RwW but our Schip was allergic to the rabies vaccination. When he would get due for one, they would do a blood sample and test for sufficient antibodies (IIRC it was called "doing a titer test") and pass on the shot if he didn't need it. I think he only had three shots in his 15 years.

The pres should hire me as full time bike mech. He'd never be caught out with underinflated tires again.
