Sort of kidding there. I think it was also just three asterisks. Where are you riding today, dat?

Beautiful Chester County, PA. About 40 miles west of Philly. At least temps are above freezing...by about 3 degrees.

My wife thinks I am nuts for riding today. She may be correct.

addiction was never this good before solo.

Hate to disagree with coasting, but I miss Razor and iJen.

I suppose all heroes have feet of clay.

Broken records are hard to listen to though.

Having said that I should add that he seems a genuinely nice guy and certainly has an interesting life.

I think like every therapy group, we should take turns to share our feelings and problems.

I miss ijen also. A very bright and funny gal, not to mention attractive. I really do hope she gets the counseling she needs. There are answers and solutions available, probably even better than what she would get here on addiction though at a price.

Okay, your turn since you brought it up.

sheesh... this is all for fun. we need to all lighten up. Why are people here? I liked to shoot the breeze here when I was working for myself because I had no one to talk crap with. I got a regular job and all of a sudden my time wasn't mine anymore so I lost touch with BF and addiction. Hell, I only managed to cycle occasionally. Now my life has agin changed and I'm back talking crap with people I don't know.

I feel that we should just stop being unhappy about whatever and just go take a ride. It could be worse.

... and it will probably get worse. And then it will be all so bleak.

Solo: yo-yo's don't come back if there's no string. Cease entertaining pointless conversations with her over a past "relationship" and I'll bet your future encounters with her will consist of a nod and a wave.
:)

Out of respect for your repeated requests. I did not respond to the inquiries on the previous page about that subject. For that matter, I don't even want to think about it anymore. Drinking rum straight from the bottle at 8am doesn't seem to help yet however. Neither did hanging out with the personal trainer last night. Which sucks because she is really awesome and we have a lot in common.

coasting 12-22-12 07:39 AM

how about going away for a vacation, solo?

gsteinb 12-22-12 07:39 AM

off to florida. catch you on the other side maybe.

I was out sailing with my brother on an 80 ft schooner he captained at the time. We were 20 miles off the MA coast and the weather had gotten very intense, 40 knot winds and 15-20 foot seas. My face 2 inches from his I screamed at the loudest possible "is the boat okay, seems pretty bad out here" his return scream, "it can always get worse". This coming from a guy who spent three days in the North Atlantic riding out 70-80 ft seas some time ago. Yup, it can always get worse.

Pictures or it didn't happen.
You do realize that drinking rum at 8 am suggests certain problems that bear looking into I hope.
And thanks, that's nice of you. Merry Christmas.

Conversely, it can always get better. Just tough to fathom when you're getting repeatedly bashed over the head with a football bat.

For all we know they are the same person. The similarities are quite striking.
