Went to the doc, yet another sinus infection. This crap is getting old!!!

She cleared me to get on the trainer, I'm allowed 50% effort for 50% of normal time. She is also scheduling me for rehab.

On the way there I got a call. My dad was alternating between talking coherently and incoherently. His blood pressure was 184 over something. Mom took him to the ER where they ran a ct scan. They are admitting him to run more tests. Weeeeee......

Not good news. Hope the tests turn out OK.

Well, that last 100 posts got up fairly painlessly. I'd say we'll get 6000 before the evening's out. Depends on whose evening though. East Coast, Central, Mountain or West Coast?

SWMBO is still mudding the bathroom drywall. It is starting to come together. Paint maybe in 24 hours.

Put a new fuel pump in the Stealth and it fired right up. Decided to do the injectors and plugs and was putting it back together when I found a stripped hole in the lower intake manifold casting - just one of the bolts that holds down the fuel rail, nothing serious :rolleyes: I was out of M8 helicoils but managed to make it to Fastenal just before they closed. With any luck I'll have the Stealth back together tomorrow. With the new injectors and new pump, it should be good for 500 HP now, at least on paper.

I haven't been on a bike or trainer in a week and I'm feeling REALLY guilty. Tomorrow I'm going riding.

Just as well I am not typing with my toes. I can't feel them.. i didn't think an 8-mile ride could be so cold on the toes. But that's what I get for starting a RTW trip in the Australian summer and ending up a Canadian winter. I suppose.

For the first time in two months I rode my bike today.

I did 25 miles and was hurting. It amazing how quick the human body degrades when you are old like Pcad.
