I never said I was going to welcome her back into my life with open arms. The damage has been done. It can never be the way it was. There is nothing she can say to change my mind. So when we talked the other day, she talked about how she was still looking at houses, and how it is so much worse looking at them all alone. How she doesn't even know what she wants in a house, and how her future is so uncertain, and how she always thought I would be part of it. I couldn't even respond to that. It resulted in an awkward silence. I realize I focused my happiness codependent on her. Now, I am finally getting back to normal, and happy being myself again. I don't need her and her lies to tear me down again. I'd just like to hear her explain herself, and then I'll get the satisfaction of telling her it's too late.

Raw is the way to go. Some guy has been feeding his Newfies raw, and they have been living like double the average life expectancy. It's expensive, but if it makes my pet live a healthier longer life, than I say it is worth it.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that. If you didn't have feelings still invested in her, there would be no satisfaction to be gained from a confrontation. You're hoping to hurt her because you think that seeing her hurting over you will prove that you are significant in her life. Meanwhile, she called you up with the goal of seeing you again and you're walking in to it. Do yourself a favor and admit that you're the fiddle that she's playing.

Not going to happen. I do love her, and I always will. However, I've effed my life up time, and time again over her. It's a toxic relationship. She is effed up, and I got effed up over her. It's just not worth it. Besides, I can't even drive to see her for the next 5.25 months.
