haha. How indeed? I usually skip the fairs with farm animals and all, I'm a city boy at heart, there's only so much rural I can take.

Not even close. I'm in Liverpool, which is where Mr. Rjones28 used to live, and where his wife, Mrs. Rjones28, works. I think she works at WCNY, which shares a three letter acronym with me, but has no other connection. Anyway, they now live in Chittenango, which is incidentally where I bought my previous car. His LBS is in North Syracuse, and has a branch in Manlius, which is where he suggested I look at a carbon Jamis, but that is a different story.

None of these places are Syracuse. Or Binghamton (there is no p, but I'll let it slide).

Armstrong/Oprah=Total fail.

I am fairly rural, and haven't been since 1993. Surprisingly, once you've seen a tie dyed chicken and a gigantic butter sculpture, you don't need to see it a second time.

And VV, that isn't in Syracuse either. It's in Solvay.

RollCNY 01-18-13 08:08 PM

Oprah looked healthier in The Color Purple.

I'm creating my LA checklist.

It's a good thing I'm not a cocky arrogant jerk like Lance.

That's almost an hour on foot.

That's like putting a giant 'kick me' sign on your Pcad ass.

patentcad 01-18-13 08:24 PM

This Lance interview is thoroughly depressing.

They took a unit of blood from him today, I guess they will be doing that every so often. Also mentioned a chemo pill.

Would that have anything to do with his three recent mini strokes?

Probably. But impossible to prove. Getting his blood count to normal is the first step. Sounds like they are doing the right thing. Hope he does ok.

Him saying he "deserves" to be able to compete doesn't fit that list at all.

He is still lying. He most certainly did dope in the 2009 and 10 comeback. Analysis of his blood at that time states a 1 in 100,000,000 chance of having the blood profile that he had.

I'd say he hits pretty much all of the sociopath characteristics.

1 in a million not 1 in a hundred million. Don't be exaggerating.

No, it was 1 in 100,000,000. Not that it makes much of a difference now.

The odds of tears in the Lance interview actually were 1 in 100,000,000.

The odds of gsteinb re-friending me on FB are more like 1 in 1,000,000.
