I just started back running after a 25 year hiatus. You'll see; you'll all see.
Or not. I started out running 10 minute miles for 2 miles. Now I am down to "cruising" at about 8-8:30 miles and can run pretty much as long as I want to, but typically 5-10 miles at a time. Everyone is different, but I have found that the running complements my cycling. I am able to get more workouts/week. I often only have 1 hour, which IMO is not enough for a real bike ride, but is plenty long for a quick run (7-8 miles). YMMV. |

You're probably faster than me on the bike too.

I doubt many people care, but in case anyone does, here is a typical run for me. This past weekend I was away at my daughters synchronized swim meet in Carlisle, PA...and I couldn't take my bike, so I went for a run:

So it's just fine for people here to go on for pages and pages about their drunken lasciviousness . . .
Nor were we lascivious. We were simply sipping adult beverages, trying to help a fellow addictionite to pass the time. Is this why lips that touch liquor have never touched yours?

Speeds up lots of routine operations like booting up and shutting down, etc. Great performance bang for the buck ($250).

Who needs external storage when you've got "the cloud"!!!
I just want someplace to store many gigs worth of photos and video and not have to worry about being connected to the interwebs out in the middle of nowhere. |

Wait, for once I'm faster than someone on the 41? Ok, it's not on the bike, but still.

What's this running stuff we are speaking of?
Decent looking route/ride, datlas. |
A blizzard for the ride home on Monday, and 40 mph headwind for the ride home tonight. This has been the toughest week of the year so far.

Right... I'm a filthy triathlete, however. For me, the bike is that annoying part I get passed on before catching back up to everyone.
And thanks! |

I'm with OCLV. Make a comment, similar to the ones you've made for years in this thread without problem, and then have a bunch of idiots talk about screwing you in the ass with Bengay.
Makes total sense. |

Makes total sense. All I can say is that there are some real idiot provocateurs there. I can live a happy life never going there again. I do hope SA rejoins the fold, I wish him only the best. |
Since pcad made that stupid comment to roadwarrior, we've had LC and Billy, Gary, Siu, Dannihilator, and Tom policing this thread.
