Too fat for climbing.

Oh well, ive been promised midday donuts - something to look forward to.

It's a cruel joke that in winter, bright sunny days mean you're going to freeze your ass off.

And possibly get a nosebleed from the dry, dry air.

Can you actually hire them, or just call to say hello?

I think actually hiring them was part of the deal, however we have acquaintances who do that sort of thing as a job in winter, so in some cases I may just be calling to say hello.

Just wondering how many other things occur due to your sphere of influence. Tides, perhaps?

Not tides, but that earthquake up by AK today? Me.

Various people enact change in the forum all the time. Point out the momentary "unprivacy" of mods' thread deletions and it's practically instantaneous I guess. Shoulda been more vague in my post the other night.

Subscribed Threads and Spy were my main two pages used for accessing the forums, now I gotta come up with a new strategy I reckon. I'll probably just do Subscribed and Bike Mechanics (since it's above the fold).

You just insulted another member.

Thank you.

I'm glad Lexus spent millions on it. I spent $3x,xxx for a car to carry multiple bikes. Plus, there is no way I'd put this bike in it after playing around in the mud.

patentcad 01-05-13 02:06 PM

I do like that white color. My Cervelo fits in the back nicely.

Oh I always carry my bike inside, never know when I'll have the opportunity to ride. I just have to be prepared for multiple bikes or for when multiple people need to ride inside the car and I have to move the bike to the rack.

sbxx, what would a reasonable lowball for those be?

Hard to say. He's bumped it a couple times. I bet they're gathering dust, and from what I remember, he has some expensive hobbies (collects motorcycles?). I'd stay low, but not insulting. If he hasn't had any bites, he might be ready to move them. He probably paid around $750.

Hubs are light and some of the best on the market. I used them for my 65s. Psimet really likes them. Retail on the hubs are:

CX Rays are the best and the Kinlin rims are solid. My wife rides the XR-270 front, XR-300 rear with CX Rays. Built by psimet in 2009 with no problems. Hope that helps.

Ok. I read the carbon chump thread. Dumb. The simple answer is ride/race what you can replace.

It's not that black and white for me.

sbxx1985 01-05-13 02:18 PM

Looks like you found a use for those 50mm psimets you don't like.

Why would you ever let anyone else inside your car in the first place?

So as many can take advantage of the gas mileage as possible.

Chorus 10 rules. My favorite from Campy so far. Best part about riding the rain bike. Even Peter with the Campy tattoo couldn't get my Record 11 to shift like Chorus 10. Non issue now, which is nice.

Day 2 at the in-laws. Ready to shoot myself.

Being here makes me wonder - can old people smell the old people scent that they give off?

sbxx1985 01-05-13 02:42 PM

The rain bike has Deda 215s, so the cables are under the tape. I've wondered if the internal routing of the k-wings prevented that final step of Campy shifting perfection.

I know a couple families with multiple cats. Their houses smell like litter box, yet they're oblivious. Probably the same kind of thing.
