First ride in over a month today. The holiday madness, coupled with crappy weather and a 2 week cold really put a damper on my riding. Today it was finally sunny and 53 degrees so I went out for my standard 23 mile ride. The first seven miles had me questioning my choice of sport...I couldn't find a rhythm, I was cold and I couldn't keep out of zone 5. Finally the eighth mile came and all was right with the world...or at least with me. The rest of the ride was slow but lovely.

I got a Christmas present of sorts from TDOT. Today was the first time I've ridden on a road since they re-did this turn/bridge. It's now got a wider arc and better visibility. You can carry more momentum coming off the ridge now. Yay!

Yes and luckily enough I haven't seen them. They have upset a lot of local businesses by lying to them already though. Some locations that they are claiming are Sissonville (where I live) are other areas of the state. As if we didn't have a bad enough reputation.
