I look at this thread as the conversation that goes along on a JRA, and find it very enjoyable at times. Other times it is a collective of gossipy women stabbing whoever isn't around.
RollCNY is on a roll today. |

I think getting the business is part of the fun. I just don't like giving the business to someone who isn't defending themselves. Seems much like kicking a prone opponent.
I would give the NTTAWWT disclaimer, but it doesn't apply. TISWWT. |

I wouldn't hang out with either of them, and haven't had an issue saying what I think. Sorry SA, but you're a ****ing train wreck. IJen is a therapist's wet dream. I don't even believe the new guy exists. I'm sure that chick is going to end up on an episode of Catfish. |
This thread is about nothing. It is like the Seinfeld thread.

iJen's actions are completely different. I don't believe that if someone cheats the only person they cheat is themself, because it lessens the result for those who don't cheat. BUT it is not a crime. I would welcome her back here with no complaints and would never mention it again. |

But seriously, there's one sad thing that I've relearned recently - as a moderator you can't always jump into the fray, no matter how tempting. Because How can you referee if you've picked sides? And if it goes out of control, who's going to put it out? Not criticizing anybody else, that's just me. |
Sunny and 77 degrees outside... I'm going for a ride.

I don't table my right to an opinion or my ability to express them. In all honesty if you don't like it report me to an admin. |
This venting has been therapeutic.

Point taken Gary. I know I've acted irresponsibly, and I've made lots of bad decisions. A good bit of those in the last few months. I'm moving past that. I can only dream one day I will be able to sit on top of my own high horse, and pass judgement on you.

How dramatic.
Some of you clearly take your internet too seriously. |
Calm down and go watch some climbing videos.

The search for consistency and structure on an online forum for lycra clad men (few exceptions) is odd.

I actually appreciate the way you take criticism. I just hope, for your sake, you actually enact some change in your life lest you find yourself repeating the same dysfunctional patterns time again.

See, it's all good.

I don't get it either.

for getting a DUI i have absolutly no sympathy for you. drunk drivers are stupid idiots who don't deserve to have the privilege use a motor vehicle. even as a young university student it was automatic amongst my friends and i: you drink, someone else drives. most of us actually biked to parties for that reason.

SA, .116 is not a small margin. It is 50% over the limit. Many of us have crawled into a bottle after a bad breakup, so you are not alone. Take your lumps (which you are doing) and be careful. The phase passes quickly. You effed up, it isn't about not eating, it isn't about being less than others blow, its about screwing up, putting yourself and others in harms way, and don't, do it again.
Good luck. Best wises.

There is no favor in drunk driving. The best favor anyone can do is spend some significant time in the box. I have known too many people who have damaged property, killed a pet or blinded themselves in one eye (real life) - basically come short of killing anyone while drunk driving. Getting off easy is a disservice to those of us who would otherwise be hurt by this reckless behavior. Sorry to be preachy, but the closer you are to the damage driving drunk can cause, the stronger you feel about it.

I'm not sure what a JRA is, but this raises another annoyance: People who use this thread to discuss posters in other threads. If you've got an issue with someone in another thread, respond to them in that thread! Don't bring it here like this is a high school clique where we talk about all the weirdos behind their back.
