No cable here. The cable company stopped laying cable about a mile from our house. I think that means that we officially live in the wilderness.

Due to all the fuss people have been making about it, I tried watching last night and didn't have a clue what was going on. So I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Perfect. I have no idea of what this show is you all speak of, but you can't go wrong with some John Hughes action.

Listen whacko, the only thing I long for is the days you posted 30 to 40 pictures of your Cervelo on top of that 1920's throw ,in front of that bench from the civil war era. Any chance we could start reliving those days and stop with all the other idiotic topics you pea brains bring up...;) I'm done, needed to hit 3800. Took me 6 years to get, while in the mean time John Lenon got that many since he passed 50,000..WTH?

We have a similar issue but ours is with natural gas. We have to use heating oil.

OTOH we do have FIOS fiber optic high-speed internet and HDTV.

I would rather have the gas.

80% of my bariatric surgery patients were off their bp meds, reflux meds and their diabetic meds by6 months post op. It is simply astounding how much this country spends on the treatment of disease caused by obesity.
Good job, keep it up , the example you set may help pcad shed his layers of blubber.

We just sit around the campfire at night and watch the flames.

What's with the 3800 milestone? Is that your lifetime cycling mileage?

No FiOS either. Verizon calls it high speed; it comes over a regular phone line. :crash:

Sounds like Chittenango isn't all that.

I actually live in a garage not all that close to the river. After getting back from bike tour I decided sleeping indoors is for the birds. Of the past 365 nights I've spent approximately 65 nights indoors.

This weekend I have to house-sit a teeny apartment downtown, about as big as that veedub with the slider out. Hope I can cope with that for a couple of nights.

About to scout some sites for summer bivouacs up in the hills. Just found out about an evening bus that goes out to Yacolt, which is a good jumping off point for overnight mountain bike camping.
