Thought that song I wrote last night was a loser, then I played it again this AM on electric guitar, tweaked the lyrics, now I like it. It's an electric guitar uptempo number, needs the PRS mojo. You know, fuzzy balls. That should make it more appealing to Whoossshhhy.

Pcad has his ass issues. I'm going to broadcast my acid reflux issues.

Significant improvement today, following 2 days of noticeably less occurence. I think I'm definitely on the right track.

I assume that is because you did not use your legs for any walking related activity. You got one of these, didn't you?http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=299976

Actually, I just got back from a walk and was surprised. I am really curious as to why walking aggravates it whereas cycling generally doesn't.

100 % agree. The think that was captured so clearly was the inevitability associated with the disease. No choice except as seen at the end. The cessation of lies , that seen in front of the board where being questioned about Trina. Just brought the tears up in fountains.

I think Miyata Man has hacked surgeonstone's account.

My nephew, a cat 2 racer does this for all training. He completely ignores distance and speed and monitors only by time spent and watts.

surgeonstone 02-18-13 08:51 AM

What does this even mean?

Wut. First, goals must be clearly defined before you can even start to discuss which is better, but I can't think of many instances were time is the better metric of the two. While trainer miles certainly aren't 1:1 with road miles, time is completely irrelevant without addressing effort - 3 hours soft pedaling !> 1 hour spent doing intervals. Miles at least attempts to address effort, though it still leaves a lot to be desired (which is why some sought better metrics such as TSS).

No hacking necessary when there's sock-puppetry afoot.

Quite.

patentcad 02-18-13 08:55 AM

But now after watching Downton I want a butler, valet, footman, a chauffeur and a bunch of maids running around in the little naughty outfits. We don't have enough room for them, they would have to live in North Face tents in the backyard.

My wife wants me to watch DA with her. I can't do it.

3 hours soft pedaling
What's that?

I only have one speed, Skippy - "on".

Downton Abbey seems to be going down a treat in America. I can't see it here. I'm missing out.

I would love to be Bertie Wooster.

Yeah, sure.

1) Then you're training ineffectively.
2) If you only have one speed, both miles and time would be equally effective metrics, so you're arguing against your previous assertion.

I covet that 1.5 litre Aston Martin they used in the television series.
