I was about to thaw out a package of lemon sole for dinner that the Mrs bought last week, but when I looked at the $13.99 per pound I decided I was in over my head. Lemon sole has a very delicate flesh and I've never cooked it before, I'd hate to eff up $28 worth of fish.

I'm very proud of myself. At 4:00 I was told by a friend that I was going to his house for dinner at 6:30. Got home at 5:15. Made toll house cookies from scratch (since I was raised to never arrive at another's home empty handed). It is now 5:50 and I am done, and the kitchen is clean. 30 min to spare.
