Of course, they must be okay, otherwise they wouldn't be as popular as they are. I think I got one bad one with a "gate vestige" on it that was puncturing my tubes. In plastic injection molding a gate vestige is a little stub of plastic in the shape of the opening (gate) through which the molten plastic enters the mold. It should be broken off and removed when the plugs are taken out of the mold, but I guess I got one with it still intact. It was acting like a thorn and puncturing the tube. Just to be safe I blew off all the plugs and went back to tape. Maybe I should give them another try.

So pedantic it's ridiculous.

If I might make a suggestion, once you get the wheels forget about the gear for a while. You can be assured that you have an excellent ride. Just ride it and focus on personal improvement through riding/training/ fitness--and it won't cost you anything. You'll have the equipment down in spades! Good luck and enjoy!

So unsophisticated it's ridiculous.

Are you afraid you might learn something useful? That would certainly not do!

What if zombies have a brain drain plug, and you grab it without first checking for a vestigal gate deformity ? It sticks, you die, and we all laugh. This is basic stuff really.

The length of that word is simply frightening.

How silly of me!

Just picked up my wheels! They do look slick if I say so myself. Will take some pictures as soon as I get home!

Bob Dopolina 03-26-13 05:13 PM

Ok.

I'm going to guess PINK.

Needs RED Tape to pull it together, rug like.

bigfred 03-26-13 05:48 PM

We're waiting!

abstractform20 03-26-13 06:15 PM

im just going to say it, because it needs to be said. Bianchi, you should have bought custom Aksiums (with Mavic Aksium hubs).

bianchi10 03-26-13 06:25 PM

Really glad I went with the black hubs. I think the gold or mango would have looked great but I am happy with the black. Now that I have seen the wheel in my hand, I'm not so hesitant to let myself like how they look. I will be getting my tires tomorrow for my LBS and will mount as soon as I get home. Cant wait to go on a test ride with these and give some feedback!!!

Because we know how much our opinions mean to you:

I approve.

bianchi10 03-26-13 06:52 PM

Hahaha thanks big fred.

primov8 03-26-13 06:55 PM

I like the subtle HED, Belgium decals. Should've gone with the gold hubs, therefore these wheels are a NOT. :p

Great looking set of wheels. Enjoy the new upgrade.
