They're Sumos - fast in short bursts, but that's about it.

Three days in a row of riding without getting rained or snowed on. Spring has sprung. 140 miles on the ss over 3 days is I think the most consecutive riding on it I have done (normally alternate the geared bikes in).

It's Alive

The Addict lives. We'll see a new one in the Fall as a 2014 model from Scott.

Any bets on the length of coasting's ban?

LowCel 03-31-13 12:26 PM

I find it kind of amusing to see the weights of pro's bikes. Obviously amateurs worry about bike weights more than most professionals. Cancellara's Trek Domane weighs in at 16.53 pounds. Sagan's Super-Six Evo weighs 16.07 pounds. Both well above the allowable weight.

He should be relegated to Trollheim for at least a week.

I am not surprised. Many "enthusiast" cyclists put way too much emphasis on the weight of their bike. Truth is, a pound or two (or 3) makes very little difference.

That's because it really doesn't matter much. Once you're down in that 16 lb range (either side of it) you're close enough for rock n roll.

We don't ban Brits, we're allies - thick as thieves.

I'm a conservative deep down but even the hardliners are turning against this Government because of their incompetence.

I hope all you Tory voting numbskulls are proud of yourselves.

If the greatest country in the world (USA) would elect a a fine Russian politician for President who would then form alliances between two of the greatest nations in the world (the USA and former USSR) we could take over China the EU, The Middle East and whom ever else is a pain in the *** and form the greatest Socialist Democracy in history.

We don't know how much we are missing waiting for this to happen. It could be another Roman Empire!

Do you have a clue about how you elect your own President?

I've been trying to sift through one of the leading quadcopter forums lately, and I gotta tell ya, most of those guys make the 41 look like an ivy league honor society in comparison. It's like they never got past 5th grade. It's frikin' horrific!

I'm starting to think many actually still are in the 5th grade.

Why is it so important to so many Americans to believe this? That's baffling to me.

Longer than his last bike ride.

Or a shorter time than between his bike rides.

LesterOfPuppets 03-31-13 03:16 PM

I think I may have anti-iJen'd that time trial. Pretty sure I ran one extra lap. Bringing a lap counter along next time.

Every time the Marines sent me to a different country, I kissed the ground when I returned here. My rememberance of a vietnamese dining establishment, was a leach filled puddle of water, a can of ham & mf ers with tabasco sauce to give it some flavor, purified 100 degree drinking water, 100 percent humidity, with Charlie wanting to wear your nuts as a necklace....It's pretty damn good here tubby!!!
