About to board my plane to go back to Oklahoma. Thank friggin goodness. These people in Jersey are really obnoxious. My family excluded of course

So my folks were visiting from NJ yesterday. I told my dad about the Roubaix I got as a gift. He asked if it was a 'race' bike and I told him it was a 'road' bike. He did not really understand, but that's ok.

You would definitely lose on that one, feeding me would cost more than buying the frameset new. On a positive note, there are 16 watchers. Hopefully at least one of them has some money in his pocket.

I'm in a bit of a rough spot in the cities: MUPs are overrun and the road are in rough shape - some still have snow banks encroaching, many seams are cracked/forming potholes and there are piles of sand here and there. It sucks less than the trainer, but still.

404s, the 303s aren't much lighter. Those all carbon 404s are the shiznit, particularly the clinchers. Tubulars are for those who want to spend their life dicking around with their bike tires. Eff that action.

There were so many loud-wheeled bikes @ the time trial. I'd have to have earbuds to ride those bikes for sure!
