Yeah, it's mesmerizing. Ian Chappell said he got the shock of his life when he first saw
himself batting

Faaaarrrkkk, is it going to be this hot tomorrow? My sac is hanging down to my knees.

I'm putting in an order for a cool change and a southerly swing on the way back, so we can coast allllll the way home.

1pm at Cafe Racer, down to Franger and back, correct?

Well, I never thought I'd see the day......I just bought some BIKE SHOP GEAR!!

I was in Black Rock, and I saw Kathy Watt shorts for $65!!!

By the way, I might look like a big fat Beach Rd Bully, but I'm really just a sci-fi/computer/weather geek who stays up all night watching Star Trek and Stargate. :D

badsac 11-27-04 08:51 AM

Ah, fark me dead. Bit of a day that. Did the normal badsac family Saturday morning drinking piss at the club. A long held tradition, one that was frequented by my dear old grandmother, who used to come drink grog with us as a late breakfast at the club until she was 87 (unlucky number that). Then off to cricket. My 3, was only converted to 13 before my best mate gave me out LWB (we rarely get real umpires in second grade here) for a ball that wouldn't hit another set of stumps. Then kept for half the day with only 6 fielders (I was fine leg fielder as well) and took a catch and gave no byes. Then got a bowl and bowled a fella, then had another fella dropped off a sitter. Then had a barbecue and got pissed of my nut (my current state). So a full day.

How did you girls go? Was the firsta anual hoity toity bike riding day an eventful one? Wish I was there with yers. :)

Hi Folks, the inaugural ATABFR day ride has been ridden and we had a great turn out of 5 members. I've tried uploading the photos but can't as the file sizes are too large. Anyone who wants to see the 'ugly, fat old B@st@rds' can see them by sending me their email addresses and I will forward them on.

wattsy_rules 11-27-04 04:50 PM

BTW, I'm getting ready to go to golf so don't have time to write a full account of the ride. Will do so tomorrow.

Wattsy looks like Kyle MacLachlan from Blue Velvet :p

)

Then what happened?

This was one thing that really p1ssed me off when I made the dreaded comeback.

I was umpiring one time, and there was an LBW appeal on our captain that was SO PLUMB that
the bowler started laughing. After pausing for a few seconds, desperately looking for
any possible way of giving it not out, i eventually had to put the finger up and send him off.

When I got back to the rooms, this tosser of a captain, who was a guy in his 40s, with kids and
stuff, carried on like such a fukn child......couldn't fukn believe it!!

You've got no webspace to drop them in?

Hrm. Well, I asked him to explain to me how he thought I was out. His answers weren't very plausible, so you could say we ended up having a little tiff. I'm sure he was thinking much the same as you were on that occasion. ;)

531Aussie 11-27-04 11:16 PM

Look out, Hitchy, there's a new thread, titled:
"Hardcore Threadsless stems (Racing trim)?"

It might activate your firewall

Tiger & I had an 'off' (well he came off anyway!).........mostly my fault.......changed me 'line' to avoid some japanese tourists who had the audacity to walk when they had right of way!.......tiger hit me......derailiuer thru the spokes.....'hanger' bent at 45 deg!........actually my story is that Tiger didn't have enough 'roadie cred' (not enough scars), so I sent him down!....fark....If ya gunna ride with blokes that aren't psychic so they know when ya gunna move off your 'line'....LOL.......I don't think he's too happy.......bit o' gravel rash...but the 486!......new derailuer hanger (thank fark it's replaceable!) new spoke for the kysiriums!....didn't break, just bent a little...those things are indestructible!....but I'm still in mourning!....Tiger reckons the derailuer hanger will be a 'Look' proprietry type....so Hitchy's hand will have to dig deep in the skyrocket!......(Sob)

Both Ok......take more than a 100kgs of Tiger & his steel frame to bust up 'carbon'!....i didn't come down, (must be something to those racing skills after all!)....Tiger lost a bit of bark......maybe a few scratches on the THYLACINE special....but no obvious damage........But the 486 (sob)...did I mention that I bent the farkin' derailuer hanger & a spoke?....good excuse for a new frame I reckon!
