How tall, Sacco? I'm 181.5cm

Thanks for that. Nah, it's bizzare. It just fell off. I've always been sporty and get my heartrate up a lot. But I've never been able to lose before. Maybe it's also got to do with beer only 4 nights a week instead of 7? ;)

I'm 178. So by that what would my climbing weight be? 72?

ed073 12-15-04 03:30 PM

531....I've attached the sticky from bb.com about nutrition for mass I was trying to find the other day

Red is paying member. Blue is moderator. I don't think any of us have either colour, which means we're just plebian scum.

178 is 5'10" right? 72 would be a healthy and maintainable climbing weight. Depending on your body structure and bone density you could get it down to 68 without too much trouble, but at some point weight loss will compromise performance and may even start to affect things like your immune system. Keep using beer to make sure this doesn't happen :)

Nothing is "free" Joe pays for this out of his own pocket. It's only been recently that he was forced to allow ads in order to handle the increased bandwidth. the donations without question help him immeasurably Before you take things for granted know the facts.

...especially amongst freeloaders like me. I'm gonna start collecting forum memberships like ppl collect barbie dolls. Am I allow to refer to barbie dolls in a forum context, or will mattel sue my butt off. Actually how would a company like mattel sue an alias/alter ego? mutter, mutter, ponder....

Sorry....free to me.

I've got no problem with ads to pay for it. Fill it up, I say. Everything else is plastered with ads.

Hey, don't knock the old technology. I only just retired my Super Record in September after nearly 20 years of service. Jockey wheels are almost round :D Know where I can get genuine replacement parts?

greywolf 12-15-04 05:13 PM

Toeclips rock!! I hate clipless pedals. Bloody dangerous having to twist to get out. I've had to set my right pedal to release easy to get any confident with the rotten things.

I was up at the old cheds' place the other day and what did I find? My old Campag platform clip pedals, best ones they ever made. They spread the whole weight of the foot across a giant platform rather than just the cleat. Trouble was that they were mounted on dad's old treddly. I hope he won't mind too much when I ask for them back next year. I'll need them for my track bike.

Thylacine 12-15-04 05:55 PM

No.....no......toeclips suck. You know they do, don't pretend that they don't, coz we don't believe you.

Fellas, I really hurt myself on Tuesday. Pulled up really sore yesterday, went for a walk into town to meet the missus at the Queen Vic Night Market, by the time we got home, my knees and left ankle were aching like a mutha.

Feel better today but......crikey......how old do I feel?

Yeah, 5 10. Actually, I don't know if I'll make it anywhere near 72, let alone 68. I was feeling quite weak on my ride yesterday. Then again, it was 4 days since I'd even had a sip of beer, so that could explain it. I'll remedy that tonight. :)

That's a reading of LOW on the sympathy meter. Every guy I know feigns injury when they are dragged kicking and screaming into any shopping environment.
