Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

integrated seat post

hey,

i'm probably going to sound like a newbie but i'm planning on buying a new frame. i've found a place that has a great deal on a nice frame but it has an integrated seat post. my lbs told that i have quite long legs compared to my total length so i was wondering if it is possible for such a seat post to be too short from the start without even cutting it. i'm not that great in all this geomoetry stuf so... My inseam is 86cm and the total seat tube length is 74cm, with a crank of at least 170mm i'd think it'd fit easily but still i'd like to check first.

Grtz

If it has never been cut, it will be plenty long enough. If it's been cut, cut it some more and put on a conventional seat post
