Believe it or not, these useless features aren't driven by developers. Typically, some management drone thinks it sounds like a good idea or wants another bullet point so they can have a longer list than the competitor. No salaried developer gets to choose what to add to the software.
There was a message across the top here a short time ago that said something like "You asked for it..." I did not. |

Yeah, I suppose. After seeing what Microsoft did to its Office suite over the years, I just have a dislike for software development that seems to do nothing or makes things worse, and then is wrapped in a nice box. If you've ever tried getting an answer to a question from Help, you'd know what I mean (and that's only the start).

And I'm off to attempt 2x20@ my new FTP that I set a little over two weeks ago. Racing prevented getting a proper bike workout in since then.
I imagine this will suck. |
Enjoy the suck!

Mt. Doom is under a massive ****storm right now. You know the kind of Tstorm cells that generate tornados. Hard for tornados to get going here, too hilly, it's one ridge after another here locally (we live on the top of one of the larger ones).

That is a fallacy. Tornadoes form when the conditions are favorable for rotation. The ground effects have little to nothing to do with it.

The thunder storm that rolled though here after lunch cooled things off by about 10 degrees. Made the evening ride more enjoyable. the sun even came out. #schwinning

That's not entirely true. I don't think I've ever written a management directed feature in my 14 year career. But I don't work on end-user applications either.

Being -2w on my intervals bothers me more than it probably should. The garage was at least 90*, I had a single fan on me, and the resistance unit was too hot to touch. I wish I had a laser thermometer to find out how hot I actually get it in my workouts. |
Why is BF now sending me emails when somebody quotes me. All of a sudden. Eff that action. HOW DO I TURN THAT OFF?? I just spent ten minutes in my user control panel and I can't find it. That would make me quit this place, and fast. Incredibly annoying.
