I normally go straight to Asus or Intel, but Intel has a total of zero mITX 1150 boards and Asus has one, with a crazy low feature count. Much as I don't need Z87, that seems to be where the goodies are packaged, and I skimped on the mobo for my last machine and regretted it, so not this time.

And the Asrock looks better than Asus's current pale gold vomit scheme. #mostimportantly

I'll be running as soon as I finish hydrating.

I do, of course, actually wish you a speedy recovery.

I don't think that I could be a mechanic - whenever I bust out tools, I feel compelled to pop open a beer.

The last computer that I bought could have made me rich... if I was dishonest.

I bought a non-working Macintosh from a graphic arts company. It had some good parts that I used for my Mac. Among the good parts was a hard drive that had a file containing the names, addresses, phone numbers, and credit card information of about 350 clients.

Whereas, at my work, we aren't allowed to buy decommissioned machines even without their hard drives. It's frustrating.

Are you going to get it pinned or anything?

LAJ 06-26-13 09:45 AM

Not the new way, RUOkie, but I only have my left hand, so it was economical, to say the least. Video in a bit.

It appears a week is the normal wait for that determination, WhyFi. Seems odd to me, but swelling and such is an issue.

Bonus. ;)

This calls for some #civildisobedience

I don't see the point to tagging and hashtagging on a forum like this. Especially hashtags. Aren't they essentially threads (at least I think that's how they work on Twitter)?

Just grubby. Clean, grease, and back in.

...or, since I have the bearings out, should I go ceramic? That'll make me faster, right? #41ier

And I have to ask LAJ , did you break your collarbone wrenching? :innocent:

I estimate at least an extra 1.3mph of average speed.

Ouch, LAJ. Heal quickly!

WhyFi 06-26-13 10:18 AM

So, uh - what happened camera left? Was that some hand-checking, or what?

Bah Humbug 06-26-13 10:18 AM

In other news, just ordered up an HRM strap. Will probably only use it on the trainer though, at least at first.
