I thought it had to do with keeping them clear of slippery snow and ice, hence being in New England.

Mrs. LAJ trades them, gives them to those that appreciate them, and makes stuff with them.

When cutting a large-ish limb, they failed to make a relief cut on the bottom of them limb, so when they cut from the top, the limb swung like a pendulum before tearing free and dropping less than a foot from the bumper of a Camry.

We do have Nachito Herrera.

Anything with 'flame' in the name . . . well you just know what you're in for.

Georgia and Flames. Sherman's march to the sea?

Never traded them. I do give them away and do make stuff with them. It's just when they are ready It can be overwhelming and I have a fraction of the plants you have. Still fun to grow.

mac4095 06-04-13 08:39 PM

I got nothing.

Going down to 48° overnight. A windy, chilly 48.

After that heatwave we had last week, I'm not mad at that.

Bah Humbug 06-04-13 08:51 PM

I do find it quite amusing how many Lap Band banner ads there are on this site.

If I can ever figure out how to change a quote that someone posted like whooosshhh did to me that would be a better job.

You just click the "Reply With Quote" button and go in and edit the part that has the other person's quote.

She knows folks all over the world, and gets the latest greatest seeds. In return, they get what they don't have, or may want. She also gets salsa's made with her peppers, made by people all over the place. Just a blast for her, and the work she puts in is well worth it.
