I think I'm in a band now, and they are already gigging, so I'll start to play out with them a bit. First rehearsal tomorrow maybe, they'll start working me into their repertoire. I honestly think that our vocals will be one of the strongest of any local band in the lower Hudson Valley, stronger vocals than any of the local bands that I know around here. They sound great now (the woman singer is amazing), add my vocals and lead guitar and it will sound better still. I don't hear other bands doing the acoustic/electric guitar mix we're doing, it's somewhat unique and it sounds fantastic. Very excited.

My first gig (ever, of any kind) is this Saturday. 30 minutes all to myself (it will be all originals). Looking forward to it:

I go on holiday for a week and this thread is up to 60 pages already. You people must not have a life.

Yeah not even close.

so who had a catastrophic meltdown while I was gone? I mean that there has got to be a reason for the massive post count two weeks into a month other than complete and utter boredom.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

What's this life thing you're mentioning?

It's something you don't seem to have.

Having a life is overrated.

Huh? Half way through the month, and we're way behind the post count if we want another 6,000-er.

I blame Bah Humbug and his budding romance.

Even poor old Pcad is feeling the drag of his medical woes.

We need SA back here to spice things up with his personal dramas.

I rode today :-)

I didn't stretch afterwards :-(

I'm stretching now...

Who is leukybear?

datlas 06-12-13 05:21 AM

It's Wednesday and a beautiful spring day. I should be doing my epic weekly Wednesday club ride.

But my 11 year old has her 5th grade award ceremony this morning.

Family trumps cycling.
