Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What Specialized is this?

The owner doesn't know the year or model of this bike-https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/3876268415.html. Anyone know what it is?

No idea, but if you put a space between the hyphen and URL, people will be able to click on it. Just sayin'.

Looks Like an early '90s Allez Comp, I can't tell from the photos is it 8-sp? maybe a '93?

Sure looks like an old Allez Comp. I've got a 2003 CrMo Allez Comp. Mine is still a very nice steel bike.

I still haven't found one with that color. I searched bikepedia, but they don't have colors listed for the early 90s, nor do they have pics.

It is an older Allez, aluminum model. It is a 90's model for sure, I used to sell those in the shop I worked in back then, wish I could remember exactly which year that is. Appears to have RSX shifters which I think were all 7 speed, with a 105 derailleur.

Thank you so much. Do you feel that $150 is a good price for it?

$150 sounds good to me. Last year I sold an older Allez , it wasn't a comp and it had down tube shirfters and RSX parts for either $125 or $150 I can't remember exactly. This one has better components and STi brifters
